I'm throwing it here, because I'd like to start working on the web part of the whole thingy, aka our OF web application, soon. It's meant to include interface to the asset and master server, forums, website and maybe some kind of blogging community etc under one project, with integrated accounts.
If anyone is willing to make some mockups (Spiney?), please put 'em here. The best one will then be selected as the new octaforge.org look. :)
What language have you planned on using for the web application part? Django/Python, Ruby, PHP or something else?
Definitely Python, using either Django or Pyramid. Most likely Django.
